Born-Again Boards

	This question often arises: Can a guy ride 'em?

Here Hawaiian surfer Steven Murphy rides
a Born-Again Boards produced 10'3" balsa/redwood combination at Waikiki. The redwood used came from a dismantled
redwood water tank and bears the scars of nails, mineral stains, and plain old age. From the start, Steven made it clear he wanted a rider, not a wallhanger.

To get ready to ride this board, Steven knocked the fin off a 60s beater and practiced for a year
or two. The results speak for themselves. Steven claims this
is his favorite stick.
